York Gateway Station – Project with Freedom Group & John Sisk & Son (Holdings)

AIG was proud to contribute to the York Station Regeneration Project, which aims to enhance the station environment and improve accessibility and connectivity for residents, commuters, and visitors. As part of its involvement, AIG supplied approved substation doors and specialist fire doors for the development.

The final phase of the project will focus on completing the new road layout and delivering the remaining walking, cycling, and public transport infrastructure. This work will mark the completion of the highway’s element of the scheme.

Upon completion, the project will provide a redesigned permanent road network, including continuous cycle lanes and footways, upgraded bus stops, and enhanced public spaces. These improvements are intended to increase accessibility, improve connectivity, and create a more welcoming and efficient environment for station users and visitors.
